About Me
Hey everyone it's Keiyana again, and I finally made it! I've reached the end of my senior year, the end of my high school career, and even though I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, I'm a little sad. These past four years have been filled with ups and downs, but mainly a lot of life lessons. In those moments I was sad, but looking back, I'm thankful for some of the situations I was put into. Now I'm ready to go off to college, and I've become a very mature and responsible young lady. For this last summer before I go away to Penn State University, I'll be working at a summer camp. This will be my first job, and add more to me becoming a responsible young woman. For college, I've decided to major in Communications, but I might switch to Business; who knows. I plan on taking all the skills I've learned in FMHS such as organization and time management in order to be successful in college. I also plan on being involved in the Penn State community because I've learned how important it is and how much of an impact it can make on your future when you're more involved. In my second year of college, I plan on studying abroad because I would like to become a broadcast journalist, and a big part in that job is traveling to uncover current events around the world.

The reason I chose this conclusion paragraph from a lab I did in What's Cooking is because in the past, I've always had a terrible time with lab reports and conclusions. I think what helped me write this conclusion paragraph so well was the fact that this lab was designed by my group and I, so I understood it better. I explained our results in full detail using vocabulary and relating it back to our hypothesis. Here's a picture of the poster describing our lab.
Exemplary Work
This piece I chose was my final assignment in American Capitalism this last semester. The task was to pick an industry that made an impact on society in the past and present. I decided to write about the Fast Food Industry because that was the one that I was personally interested in and actually wanted to learn more about. I think of this as exemplary work because Capitalism was a challenging class for me, and I got a 94 on this final assignment. :)
My Choice
The final piece I am presenting today is my real estate project I did in financial math. I felt like I was not only successful with my research, but also the presentation portion of this project because I received a 95 on my communication outcome. I'm always watching HGTV, so I enjoyed this project very much. I also learned a lot about buying or renting a place to live, which will help me in the future when I'm actually doing these things.
