About Me

My
entire family is from Jamaica, but I was the only one who was born in America. I
was born and raised in the Bronx, and I love it more than words can explain.
Ever since kindergarten, I have attended school in Manhattan. Coming to the city
everyday is fun, and it also brings out my wild side, while the Bronx brings out
my calm side. It makes me that way because the Bronx has less excitement and
less crowds of people. Manhattan is like the world’s biggest circus.

Trying
new things is something I love doing, but out of the many things I do, dance is
my main skill and hobby. At the age of three, I started dancing doing tap,
ballet, jazz, and hip-hop. My mother noticed how I would always dance around the
house, and decided to enroll me into  Fancy Feet Dance Company. I have performed
in Walt Disney World, and I have gotten many awards for competing. Dancing has
always been a huge part of my life, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop. When I
went to middle school, I  joined the volleyball team, the girl’s basketball
team, and the track team. Those are hobbies I love doing after school.

When
I grow up, I plan on helping people and giving whatever I can to those who are
struggling in the world. My father was diagnosed with type two diabetes when I
was eight years old. It affected my family and I so much because we never knew
what the next day would bring. Becoming a doctor and finding a cure for diabetes
would be an amazing accomplishment for me. Another future goal I have is to
build a children’s foundation. To be the reason that a child can have a
wonderful future is more than I can ask for
